Tips on Installing
Your Computer's Wallpaper:
Microsoft Windows
Select the size above which
corresponds to your desktop settings, right-click on the image that appears,
and then select the option to "Save as Desktop" or "Set as Wallpaper."
Don't know your
desktop settings? Click the "Start" button, select
"Settings", select "Control Panel", double-click
the "Display" icon, and then select the "Settings" tab on the upper
right corner. Near the bottom right of that window,
you will see "Screen Area" with a slider bar and the current size of your screen
depicted in the number of pixels
beneath it (for example: 640 x 480). You should select the size photo from above
which matches the
number shown as your current screen area to ensure the proper appearance. While
you're on the "Settings" tab,
make sure your colors are on "True Color" of "High Color" for the best
picture too.
Macintosh
If you are using Macintosh, you need
to be running system 8.0 or higher. If not, you will need a third party program
such as Décor to use
background images. To save the image, click on the desktop size you have, then click
and hold
the mouse button on the image until your browser asks you where you would like to save the
image. Use your
Desktop Pictures control panel (OS8) or Décor to make the picture your desktop
background. |
