Since 1998, The Refuge has been synonymous with great golf and is known as the "Best Purely Public Golf Course in Mississippi!"  And for nearly as long, The Refuge Grill has been serving up great food for golfers and non-golfers alike!

To celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we have spent many man-hours "re-branding" the grill in order to introduce new customers to the best kept secret in Flowood when it comes to lunch!  An all new logo, new menu selections, and the same great friendly customer service you've come to expect from The Refuge.  But more than just a short order kitchen or a lunch counter at a golf course, The Refuge Grill is a full service grill that just happens to be located in the clubhouse of a public golf course---which means we are always open daily to the public too!

It never ceases to amaze us that folks say "I didn't know I could eat there if I wasn't playing golf!"  Whenever the course is open, The Refuge Grill is open and we welcome anyone to try some of the best food in Flowood.  From our "nearly world-famous" Refuge Burger to a wide selection of grilled chicken choices, old world deli style sandwiches, and our new signature Chop House salads, you're sure to be pleasantly surprised with what you'll find at the all new Refuge Grill!  And be sure to try one of our house favorites....like the the grilled chicken quesadillas or the Refuge Smokehouse burger!

AN IMPORTANT NOTE:  Please remember, The Refuge Grill is located at The Refuge Golf Course,
so you should call ahead on inclement weather days to be sure the course is open.  The Grill
will be closed  on days the course is closed, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Have you tried eating lunch in Flowood during lunch hour lately?  You had better add an extra twenty minutes to your lunch hour by the time you get somewhere, get a table, get your food, eat, and get back!  Why rush lunch?  The Refuge Grill is only 1½ miles south of Lakeland Drive, in the Refuge clubhouse off Airport Road.  Just turn onto Refuge Blvd at the Canebrake Office Building on Airport Road (Hwy 475) and we're at the end of the boulevard.  Take back control of your lunch hour and stopping rushing to get back to the office!

At The Refuge, the spacious 3,000 sq. ft. clubhouse is an eclectic mix of rustic charm and contemporary engineering.  While the outside conjures images of an old-time hunting lodge, the inside is warm and inviting with soaring ceilings and walls of windows that welcome in panoramic views of the surrounding course.  Exposed wooden beams support the impressive vaulted ceiling and the inviting aroma of freshly-prepared selections from our menu welcome you inside.  And with a wide selection of tasty treats to tempt your taste buds, it's no wonder area business people stop by the Refuge Grill at lunch hour!

Not many restaurants can say they offer a setting as peaceful as The Refuge.  And only one restaurant can say that is overlooks the "Best Purely Public Golf Course in Mississippi"....The Refuge Grill!  We've expanded our seating by adding a new covered patio overlooking the 18th green to give you an outdoor dining experience so you can take in all that The Refuge has to offer.  Stands of towering pine trees, centuries-old oaks, and shimmering lakes await golfers on the course and that same atmosphere envelops the setting at The Refuge Grill.  Whether you are dropping in for a quick bite to eat while you keep up with the day's news on our in-grill television, enjoying a "working" lunch with clients or co-workers, or taking a break from the daily grind to meet family and friends for lunch, you are sure to find great food fast at The Refuge Grill. 

If getting here is half the battle, then we'll make it easy for you.  Instead of driving across town for lunch or taking a short drive and waiting twenty minutes for a table, just take the short drive down Airport Road here in Flowood.  We're on Airport Road, just 1½ miles south of Lakeland Drive in the clubhouse at The Refuge Golf Course.  We're only a couple of minutes from shopping at Dogwood Festival and Dogwood Promenade, the Jackson International Airport, and hundreds of businesses throughout Flowood.  To make it even easier, we've included a map below to get you here from anywhere in the Greater Jackson area.  If you're using a GPS in your car, our address is 2100 Refuge Blvd., Flowood, Mississippi.
