Watermark Planning is the planning division of Watermark Golf, LLC/Nathan Crace Design.  We provide land planning for residential developments, educational and health campuses, commercial developers, and more.  The planning division is headed up by our Principal, Nathan Crace.  A member of the American Planning Association, he is known for his unique design applications and ability to arouse interest and stir the soul--two key components to successful planning and design.

Nathan is also able to relate to the needs of individual owners and developers by custom-fitting the design to their budget as well as the land.  For example, for any given project--while he may see tremendous potential in a piece of property--he always works closely with the owners to present all options within the budget parameters while examining the realistic possibilities to make the end result as successful as possible within the budgetary and other constraints presented to him.  No design--regardless of its inherent character and quality--will be valuable to the client if it not also financially feasible and realistic to materialize.  That's why clients turn to Nathan Crace Design and Watermark Planning.

We encourage you to contact us today to see how our services can add value to your project from beginning to end.  Whether you bring our team on board at the beginning to work with project engineers for a more well-rounded design philosophy and common sense construction savings or after the project has begun for "troubleshooting" or a fresh perspective, you can count on Watermark Planning to be there for you and your project.

Mr. Crace designed the residential home sites and street circulation at Copper Mill in Zachary, Louisiana (above), maximizing valuable golf course frontage lots and golf course view lots without jeopardizing the integrity of the course.  Curving streets, sensible circulation, and strategic green space help to provide the aesthetics desired by today's discerning home buyers while realizing maximum return on investment for the developer.

Please note: Nathan Crace is not a registered landscape architect. He is a golf course architect and planner.
